Terms & Conditions

Nick Rao Pty Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) provides a web based platform via www.raott.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”) for people to use their free time productively, by earning Raott coins through various modes such as playing educational games online, reading e-books, etc. Company also allows the users of the Website to either access the Website as a guest user or to register as a full member of Raott (hereinafter referred to as “the member/s”). Full members are allowed to trade with Raott coins on the Website and to participate in various activities and deals displayed on the Website.

Company provides a web based platform for people to have an adventurous, inspirational, motivational and entertaining experience of accessing the Website and App trading with Raott coins. Company has denominated the value of Raott as 1 Raott = 1 USD. However, Raott shall have an approximate value of home currency and travel currency of each full member.

All references in these terms and conditions as “we”, “our” and “us” shall be references made to the Company and references as “you” and “your” shall be combined references made to the users of the Website / App and full members of Raotts. Company subjects the access of its Website / App to the terms and conditions contained herein. By using www.raott.com and www.raotts.com and World Raott Treasure Hunt, it is deemed that the users agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use.

• Eligibility

  Any person may access the Website / App by agreeing to the terms and conditions contained herein. However, a child below 13 years of age must access the Website / App only under the supervision of its parent / guardian and the parent / guardian must agree to be bound by these terms and conditions on behalf of the child. Parent / guardian shall also agree to undertake responsibility for the actions of their child on the Website / App.

• Access

  You may access the Website / App by registering as a full member or by only registering as a guest user. You may also play the games displayed on the Website / App as a full member or as a guest user and can win Raott coins. However, in order to trade with the Raott coins or buy additional play time in a game, you will have to become a full member of the Raotts. Every Raott coin may have a date of maturity and without being a full member you cannot trade with the Raott coins you have in your account.

• Registration

  While registering on the Website / App as a guest user or while signing up as a full member, we will ask you for your basic personal information such as your name, email address, contact details, location, etc. We will securely maintain your personal information as per our Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate personal information and must also update the same with us from time to time in case of any change. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from incorrect personal information provided by you or from non-updating of your changed personal information with us.

• Guest User

  As a guest user of the Website / App you may accumulate Raott coins. Company may, at its sole discretion, but not be obliged to, credit 1 coin per day to the account of a guest user. The coins credited to the account of the guest user shall be randomly chosen by the Company at its discretion. Guest users cannot use the coins shown in their account in any manner. Once a guest user becomes a full member, all the coins in his account are reversed back to the Company. Guest user may at any time choose to become a full member by inviting a friend to the use of Website / App. Company may send periodic reminders to a guest user to sign up as a full member.

• Raott Membership

  You may choose to sign up as a full member of the Raott by inviting a friend of yours to the Raott Website / App. Full members may be credited upto 5 coins everyday of any symbol randomly chosen by the Company at its sole discretion. Full members can buy game time, trade with coins by transferring the coins to the accounts of other full members and can also buy deals displayed on the Website / App.

• Raott Membership

  • Upon becoming a full member, trading account will be created for the full members

    • Raott coins shown on the trading account can be traded on the Website / App. The full members can either use the Raott coins to trade on Deals shown on the Website / App or transfer the coins to other full members. Further, full members can also receive Raott coins from other full members which would help them in matching with the coin combination required for trading on or buying the deals. At any time full members cannot encash the Raott coins. The value of Raott coin denominated by the Company is only for the purpose of trading on deals and we do not provide for encashment of Raott coins.

  • The non-members or guest users can access the Website / App by filling in their basic personal information and may also play the educational games displayed on the Website / App. The Raott coins won by them cannot be used to trade on the Website / App in any manner. They will have to forfeit all their Raott coins as a non-member or guest user. However, if non-members or guest users choose to become full members later, the trading account will be created for them after signing up as a full member and the Raott coins won by them as a non-member or guest user will not be transferred to their trading account created after becoming a full member. They will have to make a new start as a full member and forfeit all the old Raott coins won.

  • A user is allowed to create only one account (either as a guest or as a full member) on the Website / App. Guest users are allowed to migrate to become full members. If we notice more than one existing account on the Website / App by any user, we will deactivate all their accounts and also reverse back the Raott coins earned, won or credited to their account.

• Games

  We will create and upload games and you can win Raotts as you play the games. Additionally, full members can buy time on the games by using the Raotts on their trading account. We reserve a right to choose the games and to frame the rules of playing and winning Raotts at our sole discretion. You agree to abide by the rules of the games while playing the same. Further, we reserve a right to limit the games by time, number of Raotts, etc. and you agree to abide by the same at all times.

• E-trading

  To begin trading, a full member has to choose one coin symbol from three options which are - crown, cup and ring. The symbol will be on one side of the coin and the other side of the coin will have a design. There are 20 Raott coins of each symbol with different designs on the Website / App. Each coin will have value of 1 Raott. For the purpose of research and to improve the quality of Raott, we reserve a right at any time to know the details of coins such as symbol, design, number of coins, etc. that are in the accounts of the guest users and full members collectively. The full members will have to maintain in their trading account coins of the chosen symbol. In case they win coins of other symbols, they can transfer the same to other full members who have chosen the other symbols. Likewise, they can even receive coins of their chosen symbol from other full members. Each deal on the Deals section will show the required coin combination that may be used to buy the deal. Full members will have to trade on deals by complying with the coin combination shown there. We reserve a right to change the deals and the Raott coin combination on any deal at any time at our discretion.

• Deals & Surprises

  • We have associated with retailers that display their products on our Deals section. Each retailer will be given a unique number and their products will be identified with the unique number given. Only full members can buy products from the available deals. As a guest a user cannot buy any product from the deals. The unique numbers have been given a value in Raotts. The value may be any Raott coin combination. For instance: the deal on a coffee of a retailer with a unique number AA2356CCT99 may require a Raott coin combination of 5 crown Raott coins to buy the same. So, a full member who has 5 crown Raott coins in his trading account can trade them on buying the coffee. The Website / App provides for an option to the full members to redeem the unique numbers in order to trade on deals after knowing the value of each product. We reserve a right to change the deals and the Raott coin combination on any deal at any time at our discretion.

  • Additionally, we have surprises for you in the form of prizes. Considering your activity on the Website / App or by participating in various activities posted by us, we may wish to reward you. The rewards may be credit of game time, e-book or winning cash. We do not assure you of the posting of activities neither do we assure you of winning prizes. We may post any activity and may give away prizes at our discretion, but, without any obligation. We may ask you for additional personal information such as your bank account details, mailing address, etc. for delivery of prizes to you, which personal information shall be subjected to the terms of our Privacy Policy.In case of a minor, the cash prize will be deposited to the bank account of the guardian / parent.

  • Further, we would reward you in the form of digital treasures. You may collect e-cards using Raotts and add as a collection to your account. We would also provide you rewards in the form of gifts cards or vouchers. Each reward may or may not be redeemable. We would mention the status as ‘redeemable’ or ‘non-redeemable’ under each reward.

  • We would also provide you treasure based on your location. We may hide a treasure in one of your nearby stores based on your location. You will have to visit the store by logging into the Website / App and the Website / App will automatically detect the place where the treasure is hidden. Our Website / App will access your location that is, only the longitude and latitude to identify your place and the hidden treasure. We use your location only for the purposes of allocating and locating treasures.

• Use of the Website

  You agree to use the Website / App in a proper or lawful manner and not in breach of any legislation or licence. The right to use the Website / App is not transferable or assignable, except for the right of the parent / guardian to supervise the use of the Website / App by their minor child. You agree that when using the Website / App you will not:

  • publish, post, upload, store, distribute or disseminate any unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, harmful, confidential, or otherwise illegal material or information or anything which might constitute a civil or criminal offence;

  • upload files or other data that contain software or other material which are the intellectual property rights of any third party or which are protected by rights of privacy or publicity of any third party without having received all necessary consents;

  • upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other software or programs that may interfere with or damage the operation of the Website / App;

  • impersonate others;

  • promote any activity that is illegal; or

  • use software to harvest information from the Website / App.

  You are expected to obtain (at your own cost) all necessary equipment required to access and use the Website / App and are also expected to ensure that all access to the Website / App through your equipment is with your permission.

  We will provide you with safe and secure access to the Website / App as per our Privacy Policy. However, we will strictly handle any misuse of the Website / App by any user or any violation of terms and conditions contained herein. In such instances of misuse or violation, we will deny such user/s any and all access to our Website / App. You will maintain safe contact and appropriate conduct with other users of the Website / App and with the people you communicate regarding your treasure hunt. You will not harass, threaten or otherwise violate any legal rights of others. You will not trespass, or in any manner attempt to gain access to any property or location where you do not have a right or permission to enter, and will not otherwise engage in any activity that may result in injury, death, property damage, nuisance, or liability of any kind. If any action or communication of yours may cause or causes a liability of any kind, you agree to release and indemnify the Company to the fullest extent from the liability that may occur or has occurred from your action or communication with others.

• Limitation of Liability

  • We do not guarantee the quality of deals displayed on our Website / App by the retailers associated with us. We have no control over and are unaware of the quality or usefulness of the deals. We cannot assure your satisfaction as a consumer after using the deals and we do not intermediate between you and the retailer in respect of your complaints regarding the quality, taste or satisfaction concerning the deals. You acknowledge our limitation in respect of the deals and agree to trade Raotts on them at your own risk and discretion.

  • We associate with the retailers for the sole purpose of providing you with the option of trading Raott coins on the deals.

  • You are responsible for the transactions and deals entered into on the Website / App using the Raotts in your trading account. We do not undertake any responsibility or liability for any wrong transactions or deals made by you, including, any loss resulting therefrom.

  • While locating treasure in stores, you shall be liable for any disclosure you make to the store person in respect of your personal or account information. To locate the treasure there is no requirement by us that you should disclose your account information. If you do so, it shall be at your own risk. You agree to release us from all liabilities that may arise from misuse of your account information by any third party in any manner. Also, you shall be responsible for any physical injury caused to you by any intentional or negligent act either by you or by the store person while locating the treasure. You agree to fully release us from all liabilities arising from the above incidents.

  • You are expected to determine the appropriateness of use and all risks associated with the use of our Website / App, including but not limited to the risks of errors, loss / unauthorized transmission of data or other programs, unavailability or interruption of operations, etc. We do not undertake liability for any direct or indirect claims, damages or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the use of our Website / App.

  • Our Website / App is on “AS IS” basis without any warranties of any kind. In no event do we warrant that the access and operations on our Website / App is error free or without problems or interruptions. You shall be solely liable for the personal and financial damages resulting from the interruptions during the use of our Website / App.

  • You assume all risks associated with your online or offline communications and interactions with other users of the Website / App and with other persons with whom you communicate or interact as a result of your use of the Website / App and the disclosure you make related to your account and use of the Website / App. You understand that we do not screen or inquire into the background of any users of the Website / App or the people employed at the stores where treasures are hidden. We make no representations or warranties as to the conduct of users of the Website / App or the people employed at the stores where treasures are hidden. You agree to take reasonable precautions in all communications and interactions with other users of the Website / App and with other persons with whom you communicate or interact as a result of your use of the Website / App.

• Indemnity

  You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Company, its officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents or affiliates, etc. harmless from and against any and all direct or indirect claims, losses, liability, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the use of the Website / App and from the quality, taste or satisfaction in respect of the deals.

• Intellectual Property Rights

  All intellectual property rights in or to the materials and information made available to you through the Website / App are either owned by the Company or licensed to the Company by any third party. You may only use such information or materials. The permission to use the information and materials available on the Website / App shall not be construed as an assignment of any intellectual property rights in or to such materials or information. All rights of Company in this regard are hereby expressly reserved.

  You may view, download and print any materials and information made available to you through the Website / App subject to the following conditions:

  • the materials and information shall only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes;

  • the materials and information shall not be reproduced or included in any other work or publication in any medium;

  • the materials and information shall not be modified or altered in any way;

  • the materials and information shall not be distributed or sold to any third party;

  • Users shall not remove any copyright or other proprietary notices contained in the material or the information.

  Our Website / App displays our registered trademark and the same shall not be used by you in any manner for any reason whatsoever. You shall abide by the Copyright Act, 1968, subsequent amendments and other applicable copyright laws. In any event of copyright infringement or suspicion of copyright infringement, we may issue a notice to stop or enquire into the infringement / suspected infringement. • Third Party Advertisements and links to other sites

  Third party advertisements or links to other sites may be visible to the users during the use of the Website / App. Company is not the owner or author of the contents of the third party advertisements or links. We do not undertake any responsibility and liability for any mistakes, misstatements of law, defamation, omissions, falsehood, obscenity or pornography in the statements, opinions, representations or any other form of content appearing on third party advertisements and links. Company assumes that the users agree to be liable for effects of any transactions such as purchase of products, offers, etc. made by them through such third party advertisements or links. You shall be solely responsible for the transaction including any loss, damage, etc. resulting from them. We do not warrant and are not liable for any such loss, damage, etc.

• Governing laws

  These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. If any portion hereof is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect. These terms and conditions constitute the entire license between the Company and its users with respect to the use of the Website / App.

• Disclaimer

  Except as specified herein, all express or implied conditions, representations and warranties including without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or arising due to usage or trade practice are hereby excluded to the extent allowed by applicable law. In any event no liability shall be laid on the Company for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Website / App, including lost profits, loss of data or goodwill, any errors, viruses or other problems of any kind or nature, whatsoever, associated with the use of the Website / App. Further, Company shall not be liable for consequences arising from your communications, interactions or meeting with other users of the Website / App or with other persons with whom you communicate or interact as a result of your use of the Website / App.

• Right to Change the Terms and Conditions

  Company reserves a right to change any term and condition of use of the Website / App without obtaining consent from any user. Company will update these terms and conditions from time to time and the recent updated version will always be posted on the Website / App. Additionally, Company may at its discretion, send email notifications to the users occasionally notifying them of any change in the terms and conditions of use of the Website / App.
